To provide an independent voice for Thanet’s tourism, leisure and hospitality industry.
To encourage all parties to work in partnership to establish a sustainable, vibrant and prosperous tourism, leisure and hospitality product from which Thanet businesses, organisations, residents and visitors will benefit.

Aims:

1. To promote the interests of tourism, leisure and hospitality organisations within Thanet.
2. To act as an inclusive body fostering the objectives of shared purpose.
3. To act as the officially recognised voice of the tourism, leisure and hospitality industry in Thanet to other organisations at district, county and national levels.
4. To participate in strategic consultations at district and county level on the visitor economy plan.
5. To provide and promote a unified and constructively challenging voice for ITTA members.
6. To promote the benefits of partnership working within Thanet and Kent.
7. To promote good practice within the industry by means of communications to members, presentations, guests speakers and networking & training events.
8. To be at the forefront of the movement for environmental sustainability within our industry.

Membership
There are currently over 150 individual and associate members representing a broad range of the local tourism, leisure and hospitality industry.

Executive Committee.
An executive committee, with secretariat support, undertakes work in more detail to develop and support the members and the local tourism, leisure and hospitality industry.
